In the spirit of giving aid to a different side of humanity each time, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) was selected for Telcowin's second round of giving back. Three Telcowin volunteers contributed their man-hours and skillsets to implement Salesforce in July 2022, with 100% of implementation fees waived.
For SPCA - largely run by volunteers who previously tracked donations, donors, and payment methods manually on Excel - Salesforce now handles recurring donors, payment methods, and receipt numbers. Paperwork that used to take half an hour is now completed in minutes, and daily over-the-counter transaction reports are churned out far more efficiently - freeing up volunteer hours for the animals themselves.
The full implementation was completed in November 2022, with training carried out for SPCA's five Salesforce users. Telcowin's three-person project team was invited to celebrate World Animal Day with SPCA's royal patron, Duli Yang Maha Mulia Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, the queen consort of the Sultan of Selangor.
