Most AI stops at the browser tab. The work carries on without it.
Someone on your team is already using Claude and it is genuinely useful to them. Then they close the tab. The next person starts from nothing, the customer record was never read, and nobody can say what was decided or why.
It is not a model problem. Nothing is connected to anything.
It does not know your customer
Every question starts from zero. Your agent pastes in what they can find and hopes it is the current version.
It cannot do anything
It writes a good reply. Someone still copies it into the case, updates the record, and tells the next team.
Nobody can check the work
No log, no approval limit, no trail. Fine until it matters, and then it isn't.
A seat is not a deployment.
One assistant the whole company works inside
A seat helps whoever opens it. A deployment sits in the workflow, reads the record before it answers, acts within the limits you set, and leaves a trail. This is the whole question, so here it is plainly.
Who it helps
What it knows
What it can do
Who approves
What it leaves behind
When it gets used
Four workflows, running every day.
Not pilots. Workflows your teams run every day, connected to the systems the work already lives in.
The grounded service assistant
Your agent opens the case and the account has already been read. The draft reply is there, with the invoice dispute from March in it.
Contract and document review
Forty pages of vendor agreement, read in one pass. The auto-renewal clause is flagged, and so is the 60-day notice you would have found in November.
Account prep before the meeting
Your Sales Director walks in knowing the renewal is 18 days out, the last call was about pricing, and there is an open invoicing ticket nobody mentioned.
Ask your own data
"Which branches are seeing more complaints this quarter than last?" Asked in plain English, answered from the actual records, not a report someone built in March.
The boundaries are yours, not ours.
Your business already has approval limits and people who own decisions. AI should inherit them, not invent its own. We set what Claude does alone, what needs a person, and what it never touches. Then we log all of it, so you can check.
Knowing when to stop is a feature. It is the one your risk committee asks about first.
What it does alone
Lookups, summaries, drafts and record updates, inside the limits you set.
What needs a person
Anything above the approval threshold, anything that changes a contract, anything your policy does not cover.
What gets logged
What it read, what it decided, which rule it applied, and who it handed the work to.
Both are useful. Only one changes what your service team does on Tuesday.
Teams running Claude inside the work see it in the numbers.

Frequently asked questions
What does this cost, and how long does it take?+
It depends on the workflow, and we will give you the range on the first call rather than after a discovery phase you paid for. Most engagements start with one workflow rather than a platform decision, so the first number you see is scoped to something specific.
Can Claude work alongside our existing Salesforce setup?+
Yes, in beta. Claude sits on top of your CRM, service desk and data platforms - it reads and acts on records rather than replacing the system of record. Today that covers Sales Cloud and Slack, with more of your stack coming as the beta expands.
What if we want to change model later?+
The integration and governance layer is ours, not Anthropic's. Your access rules, record structure, approval limits and audit trail stay where they are. Changing the model underneath is a smaller job than building the layer again.
What does our team need to have ready?+
Less than most people expect. Your records do not have to be clean before we start, because the first workflow will show you exactly which parts are not. What we do need is one person who owns the process and can say yes.
What happens when it gets something wrong?+
It escalates instead of guessing. Anything outside the rules you set goes to a person with the reasoning attached, and every decision is logged, so a wrong answer is something you find and correct rather than something a customer tells you about.
What is the difference between Claude for Work and Claude Enterprise?+
Both are seat plans. Enterprise adds single sign-on, more context, audit logs and deeper integrations. Either way the plan governs the seat, not what it can reach. What it reaches inside your business is the layer we build.
