Build your own agent
Agentforce helps humans and agents drive customer success together. In this experience-based session, guests did not watch a demo - they built one.
Telcowin and Salesforce ran a hands-on morning on Agentforce, built around a single premise: the fastest way to understand what an agent can do is to build one yourself.
Guests came with their own laptops, picked up a build guide, and worked through creating a working agent - writing a prompt template, adding prompt and flow actions, and wiring those actions into the agent. Salesforce-certified facilitators from Telcowin worked the room table by table.
The session set out what makes an agent different from a chatbot: it anticipates, plans, and reasons with minimal help; it automates entire workflows or processes and makes decisions on new information as it arrives; and it hands off cleanly to a human when the situation calls for one, across every line of business.
By the end of the morning every table had something running they could test on their own phone - and the build challenge closed with prizes.
- Anticipate, plan, and reason. Agents work towards an objective with minimal hand-holding, rather than following a fixed script.
- Automate whole workflows. Not single replies - end-to-end processes, with decisions made on information as it arrives.
- Hand off seamlessly to humans. The agent knows when to stop and bring a person in, which is what makes it usable across the business.
- You can build one in a morning. Prompt template, prompt action, flow action, attach to the agent - guests did all four before lunch.
